I write to tell stories

Archive for November, 2019

The Movie – Braven – by Lin Oeding.

I like films like this, whose story, in its simplicity, is well structured,
remarkable landscape shots.
Film to see.

The Movie – CHIARA FERRAGNI – UNPOSTED – by Elisa Amoruso.

The Chiara Ferragni character and her companies are the result
of the teamwork of a team of professionals.

And I don’t understand a thing Chiara Ferragni stated in this

“My goal was not to become famous, but to do something that
made sense.”

I thought: “If her goal was to become famous…
What’s the problem?”

Everyone has their dreams, their plans and it is right to
cultivate them.
I believe that determination and passion are fundamental in
order to be realized, but it is essential to study and study
a lot to deepen the work you want to do and become a professionalit.

The Book – Making a good writer great – by Linda Seger.

This book is an enlightening writing manual, capable of dispelling all the doubts of aspiring screenwriters:

you will find, by reading these pages, how to put the ideas of your stories in order and structure them.

For me, every page written by Linda was a source of innovation and clarification for the development of my

creative writing process, both for writing the scripts, but also for writing novels.

“The craft of writing”, through Linda’s technique, becomes clear.

The sea in winter – October in Castelluzzo, Fraction of San Vito Lo capo – Sicily – Italy.

Mountain biking passion.

Before leaving I decided to use a means of transport that I love and that in Milan I can never use because of traffic.
I cycled by mountain bike for days, on dirt roads, in a rocky red ground like being on Mars, with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other.

Small paradise: Seno dell’Arena beach.

From day one I savored the peace, the silence and the beauty of this corner of paradise: a cove with a red coral beach, crystal clear waters and rocks set of shells.

The Tonnara Tower.

An ancient tower that was once used for the slaughter of tuna: a silent witness of time and humanity, it’ s looking at the sea, like a tired old man.

4 hours trekking in the natural reserve of Monte Cofàno.

Trekking for four hours alone in the nature reserve on Mount Cofàno: an extraordinary experience in contact with nature in the company of only myself and the wild animals of the mountain.

An open-air museum, where the places of the crafts of the past were recreated.
Houses built in the rocks, an extraordinary place whose particularity has made it ideal as a movie set.

The Book – Two million kisses – by Alessandro Milan.

I read this book just released in September: pages full of sweetness, like the first book written by the author “You live inside me”.

The Book – Last letters of Jacopo Ortis – by Ugo Foscolo.

Letters written by a heart in love, heartbroken and killed by lost love.

Ugo Foscolo

The Book – Mysteries, crimes and unusual stories of Milan – by Paolo Sciortino.

Particular, interesting book, which reveals many curiosities of the city of Milan and its past.

Paolo Sciortino

The Movie – A Cup of Coffee with Marilyn – by Alessandra Gonnella.

A very nice short film and an extraordinary Miriam Leone.

The Movie – Jumper – by Doug Liman.

Fun and incredible story about space / time and how to control it: to see absolutely.

The Movie – The Shallows – by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Beautiful story with an excellent narrative structure, spectacular shots, full of suspense and twists.
